| The Wild Huckleberry Restaurant at the
Leavenworth Golf Course won first place in the 2010 Salmon
Cook Off held at Lion’s Club Park September 2nd. Chef Brent
Nielsen did the cooking. Their first place finish is no
surprise to those who enjoy the Wild Huckleberry’s regular
menu. Competition included salmon prepared by seven local
restaurants. The cook off was part of the 20th annual
Wenatchee River Salmon Festival. The event was hosted by
Friends of Northwest Hatcheries and KOHO Radio. |
